In June 2025, Matsena Productions joined The Herds, a major travelling artwork previewed at Biennale Danza and directed by Sir Wayne McGregor. Conceived by Amir Nizar Zuabi, the piece featured life-size puppets of elephants, lions, giraffes and more, journeying through cities from the Congo Basin to the Arctic Circle as a symbolic act of climate migration.

At the Arsenale in Venice, Anthony Matsena collaborated with Biennale College Danza to choreograph an intervention, merging movement, music and myth. The result was a powerful street performance blurring the lines between human and animal, spirit and protest.
