JOIN OUR ADVISORY BOARD

 

We’re looking to expand Matsena’s board and bring new voices, experience and insight into the team. We are also looking for someone to lead the Board’s work as its Chair.

Matsena Arts Ltd is a non-profit company,  Its board supports the work of the artistic directors acting in an advisory capacity. This includes:​

 

• Contributing to strategy and business planning

• Oversight of creative and financial plans

• Fundraising

• Helping identify opportunities

• Acting as advocates for the company

​

The board has four meetings per year, usually online.

​

​A passion for the arts and an eagerness to support Anthony and Kel’s work are the only prerequisites.

 

Beyond that, we’re interested in hearing what you have to offer. Some of the things we’ve identified that could be useful are:

 

• experience of senior management, decision-making or policy-making within the arts and cultural sector

• a strong connection with Wales or experience of working in Wales

• fundraising and resource-development experience

This list is not exhaustive, and it’s not essential that you have previous experience as a board member or trustee.

 

This is an unpaid, voluntary role. Expenses for eg attendance at meetings may be paid.
