We’re excited for GALWAD – a story that will be told in real-time over seven days online, on TV, live from Wales from 26 September – 2 October.
The story will be live streamed throughout the week before culminating in a four-hour takeover of Sky Arts on 2 October.
GALWAD has partnered with Sky Arts to bring audiences a ground-breaking new kind of storytelling unlike anything seen before.
Wales has a celebrated history of creating outstanding site-specific theatre, film, TV production, contemporary dance and music with GALWAD bringing these together at a scale that takes audiences across Wales, from Swansea Bay to the hills of Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Over 200 artists and creatives from Wales will bring the story to life supported by an outstanding cast that combines established talent such as Alexandria Riley, Nitin Ganatra and Rhodri Meilir with a dynamic Welsh young cast

Mae GALWAD wedi ffurfio partneriaeth â Sky Arts i ddod â math newydd arloesol o adrodd straeon i gynulleidfaoedd, yn wahanol i unrhyw beth a welwyd o’r blaen.
Mae gan Gymru hanes nodedig o greu cynyrchiadau theatr safle-benodol, ffilmiau, cynyrchiadau teledu, dawns gyfoes a cherddoriaeth. Mae GALWAD yn dod â’r rhain at ei gilydd ar raddfa sy’n mynd â chynulleidfaoedd ledled Cymru, o Fae Abertawe i fryniau Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Bydd 200 o artistiaid a phobl greadigol o Gymru yn dod â’r stori’n fyw gyda chast arbennig sy’n cyfuno talent brofiadol fel Alexandria Riley, Nitin Ganatra a Rhodri Meilir gyda chast ifanc deinamig o Gymru.
